Hey friends,
It’s finally here—pre-registration for the 2025 IRCHA Jamboree is open. I want to take a moment, not just to share the news, but to give you a glimpse behind the curtain of what it took to get here.
When this Board took over, we knew rebuilding IRCHA would be a long road. What we didn’t know was just how much of that road would have to be paved by hand.
We’ve spent months—literally months—reconstructing two years’ worth of financial records, line by line. The data was not organized, and we’ve had to manually rebuild it to ensure that IRCHA’s future rests on financial transparency and integrity. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s foundational. And we’re still at it.
At the same time, we took the feedback from the 2024 Jamboree seriously. You spoke, and we listened. Many of the changes in this year’s event—from shirt pre-orders to a simpler registration process—came directly from your input.
We also engaged our sponsors in real conversations about how to bring them meaningful value. The result? A new sponsorship program that’s clear, thoughtful, and built for long-term relationships.
We completely overhauled the membership and registration system to make things easier, faster, and more consistent. That was no small task—and I want to personally thank Chris Kim and Steve O’Connor for their incredible help in building our new system. What you’re seeing today is version 1, but it’s the solid foundation for a much bigger vision. It’s designed to grow with IRCHA for years to come.
And we couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of the AMA. Huge thanks to Tyler Dobbs, Randy Gibson, David Lindley, and Ilona Maine—your partnership and encouragement have made a world of difference.
And yes… all of this while navigating tariffs, rising costs, and economic uncertainty. So we made the strategic choice to build a Jamboree model that’s financially independent of how the economy turns out. It’s leaner, smarter, and designed to weather the storm.
Through it all, I want to recognize our Board Members, who’ve poured in countless hours and sat through more Teams meetings than they probably care to admit. We know we’re behind schedule—but what we’ve built is reusable, sustainable, and most importantly, purpose-built for the future.
The best is yet to come…
